On 26 May 2018 Phongsavanh Foundation responded to the severe damage caused by raging fires that swept across Sunfan Village in Kham district, Xiengkhouang province. The Foundation donated over 5 millions kip in clothes to the 32 households affected by the tragedy. A total 260 people were affected, mostly higher rice and animal farmers. As they start to rebuild their lives, much is still needed by way of housing repairs.
